Joy
is a round little dark big eyed girl. She loves to make funny
faces and
only cries when her food is all gone. She hardly ever cries
and has a chunky little body. At first they said she was 1 ½
yrs .... impossible she is smaller than Jacob who is only a few
months old. Sara and Chelsea (US volunteers) visiting IAA when
Joy was brought from the Nairobi Children's Home, fell in love
with Joy. They asked if they could be her co-moms while they
were at IAA. They got the crib ready and all the necessary
clothes, wash tub, baby stuff etc… and hustled her upstairs to
their room. Joy’s name fits her perfectly as she is a bundle
of JOY. We have never experienced a child that was so content,
happy and peaceful in any circumstance. She always smiles and
goes on with her life as though nothing will harm her and no one
will leave or disappoint her. This is like the "inexpressible
joy" that we should have as a natural by product of our faith in
Jesus Christ.
